I am a technology contributor for CNBCThe TODAY Show, and The Queen Latifah Show. I am also the host/editor-in-chief of Crash Test Mom, a parenting product review show. I am also an MBA student at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business.

I have worked as an anchor for CNET TV and a technology contributor for CBS News. I have also been a regular guest and contributor on MSNBC, CNN, The BBC, ABC, The CWFox News, Fox Business News, G4TV, and Univision (Spanish-language reporting).

I have written for Consumer ReportsWIRED, Variety Magazine, MarketWatch, TechCrunch, The San Francisco Examiner, PC Magazine, ELLEgirl, The Oakland Tribune, Hispanic Magazine, Hispanic Trends, and The Santa Cruz Sentinel. I have a bachelor’s degree in journalism from California State University, Hayward and a master’s degree in sociology with an emphasis in mass media from the University of Southern California.

I am from the San Francisco Bay Area but live just outside of New York City in the New Jersey suburbs, where I surprisingly really like it! I live with my husband Clayton and our two lovely children. We own no pets but keep a lovely garden with home-made compost!
